২০০৮ সালে যখন তোহারাত হজ্জ কাফেলা শুরু করি, তখন বড় কোনো ব্যবসার কথা মাথায় ছিল না। মনে শুধু একটাই চিন্তা ছিল, বাংলাদেশের মানুষ যেন কোনো ঝামেলা ছাড়াই, মনের শান্তিতে আল্লাহর ঘরে পৌঁছাতে পারেন। আলহামদুলিল্লাহ, আজ ১৮ বছর পরে ২,৫০০-এরও বেশি হজ্জ ও উমরাহ যাত্রী আমাদের সঙ্গে পবিত্র ভূমিতে গেছেন। এই সংখ্যাটা আমার কাছে শুধু পরিসংখ্যান নয়, প্রতিটি মানুষের একটি জীবনের স্বপ্নের কথা মনে করিয়ে দেয়।
অনেক হাজী সাহেব আছেন যাঁরা বলেছেন, বায়তুল্লাহ শরিফ প্রথম চোখে পড়তেই কান্না থামাতে পারেননি। সেই কথাগুলো শুনলে বুকের ভেতরটা ভরে যায়। এই অনুভূতির অংশীদার হওয়ার সুযোগ পাওয়াটাই আমাদের সবচেয়ে বড় প্রাপ্তি। তাই প্রতিটি দলের সঙ্গে আমি নিজে যাই, নিজে দেখি, কারণ আপনার সুবিধা-অসুবিধা আমার কাছে সত্যিই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ।
